What do publishers, booksellers and readers think about the importance of content and its uses in the future?

“Content have been converging for years. So much that it really doesn’t much sense to talk of any more. What is increasingly getting interesting is how the convergence requires people to collaborate, think and develop in ways they didn’t perceive previously. An author, developer, seller, designer, publisher, marketeer or distributor. They are all moving closing to each other. Especially the notion of authorship is becoming less meaningful when we want to take full advantage of different platforms than just the book. Even if an author can be seen as writing the dialogue/story this becomes less and less meaningful. On the Ipad the story, visuals and drawings melt together more and more – and this will be the future of content. Especially authors will need to redefine their position.”
