Tickets for exhibitors
Tickets for exhibitors
Find out how you as an exhibitor can create tickets for yourself, your colleagues and business partners.
Exhibitor Ticket Portal (generate Exhibitor Passes and visitor ticket codes)
You are the ticket manager of an exhibiting company and you would like to
- create Exhibitor Passes or admission tickets for trade visitors from your free quota
- create additional Exhibitor Passes and tickets for trade or private visitors, which only have to be paid for when used after the trade fair
FAQ Exhibitor Ticket Portal
- From 2024, you will no longer need a MyBookFair login to access the Exhibitor Ticket Portal. Instead, you will register once with Messe Frankfurt using the e-mail address we have on file for you as a ticket manager and then use this "Messe-Login" to access the Exhibitor Ticket Portal.
- You create and personalise Exhibitor Passes directly in the Exhibitor Ticket Portal and send the finished PDF to your colleagues.
Only for the creation of tickets for trade and private visitors does the usual procedure with ticket codes remain the same, see here.
On the registration form for your stand, under "04 Exhibitor Passes and other entrance tickets", an e-mail address was entered as the ticket manager. You must use this e-mail address to register with Messe Frankfurt (Messe-Login) in order to access the Exhibitor Ticket Portal.
If no e-mail address has been entered on the form under 04, the contact person under "05 Company address" is the ticket manager and can access the Exhibitor Ticket Portal with their e-mail address.
The ticket manager can name any number of representatives in the Exhibitor Ticket Portal, who can then register (Messe-Login) and access the Exhibitor Ticket Portal as well.
If the person named in the registration form is no longer able to do so, e.g. because he or she has left the company, we can appoint another person with an e-mail address as ticket manager. In this case, please send an e-mail to servicecenter@buchmesse.de.
In the Exhibitor Ticket Portal, you can create personalised Exhibitor Passes (PDF) and send them to your colleagues by e-mail and/or download them directly from the portal.
For trade or private visitors, create ticket codes or links and send them to your colleagues or customers by e-mail. These ticket codes can be used to create admission tickets in the respective ticket shops.
The following applies to all tickets created: Only used tickets that exceed your free ticket quota will be invoiced after the trade fair.
Exhibitor Pass (in addition to the free contingent) | € 89 |
Trade visitor one-day ticket - Single (can be ordered directly in the portal) - In a Ticket Bundle (separate order) | € 89 € 45 |
Trade visitor permanent ticket | € 145 |
Private visitor one-day ticket | € 28 |
Set-up and dismantling passes | free of charge |
Yes, Exhibitor Passes and trade visitor tickets with the RMV logo are valid as a ticket for the outward and return journey to the exhibition site on public transportation (RMV fare zone). To use the RMV, the PDF ticket must be printed out.

Redeem ticket codes
Have you received one (or more) voucher/ticket code(s) for trade and private visitors and would like to convert it into a personalised admission ticket?
FAQ ticket codes
To redeem ticket codes for trade visitors, you must register directly in the shop after entering the ticket code. This registration is only valid in the Ticket Shop for trade visitors and only for the current Frankfurter Buchmesse. It will be cancelled after the event.
After clicking on the link to the shop, enter one or more ticket or voucher codes in the "Ticket code" field. You must then register in the shop for this year.
You will then be asked to enter the name and e-mail address of the ticket holder for each ticket. Once the process is complete, both the person placing the order and the respective ticket holder(s) will receive an e-mail with their tickets as a PDF and as a pkpass file.
- Check whether you have inserted the correct code and without spaces.
- Check whether you have clicked on the correct link or are in the correct shop. Ticket codes for trade visitors are invalid in the shop for private visitors and vice versa.
- Check whether the ticket code has already been redeemed. Each ticket code can only be converted into a valid ticket once.
- If the redemption still does not work, please request another ticket code from the person who gave you the initial code.
You can retrieve the created PDF tickets at any time. To do so, log into the respective shop. There you can download the tickets you have converted under the menu item "Your orders".
Trade visitor tickets are valid as a ticket for the outward and return journey to the exhibition grounds on local public transport (RMV tariff area). To use the RMV, the PDF ticket must be printed out.
Tickets for private visitors do not include use of the RMV public transport system.

Ordering of additional quotas (Ticket Bundles)

FAQ Ticket Bundles
The Ticket Bundles contain 10 trade visitor day tickets each. You can order as many Ticket Bundles as you like.
The cost of the Ticket Bundles will be added to your total order with Frankfurter Buchmesse GmbH and invoiced together with the stand rental.
For each Ticket Bundle ordered, 10 one-day trade visitor tickets will be added to your allocation of free tickets in the Exhibitor Ticket Portal. The tickets can be issued to your contacts as a ticket code or ticket link by your company's ticket manager, see here.
Yes, only tickets used for admission will be deducted from your quota. If more tickets are used than are included in the allotment or have been ordered as a Ticket Bundle, you will be charged the full price (€ 89/ticket) after the fair.
The Ticket Bundles can only be offered at a greatly reduced price on the condition of a firm purchase. Therefore, cancellation of unused tickets from the allotment is excluded.
