The Frankfurt Book Fair helps you to find the people you'd most like to talk to. Even before the Fair starts, you can use our catalogues, the Frankfurt Who's Who and the Exhibitors Catalogue, to locate relevant companies and individuals. As a Premium Member you can keep a record of your search results, and you can access the detailed information. This allows you to get directly in touch with the contacts who interest you the most.

Sharpen your skills with the Frankfurt Book Fair
A wealth of specialist events and educational activities takes place during the five days of the Fair. Find out in advance what's on offer, and secure your place at the conferences, seminars or workshops of your choice.
You can already obtain information about the events of the Frankfurt Academy, which we are organising in cooperation with the German Publishers & Booksellers Association. From the summer, more information on other activities will be available in the Calendar of Events.
Frankfurt Academy
A visa requirement applies for many countries’ nationals who wish to enter Germany.
From May on, the Frankfurt Book Fair offers a service to help you apply for a visa. To apply for a letter of invitation you must first be registered as an exhibitor or as a trade visitor. You can find a link to the registration form directly beneath your "My Book Fair profile.

Book your travel and accomodation early enough
You have access to more than 3,000 reasonably priced appartments and private rooms during the Frankfurt Book Fair. The prices range from about 50 euros per night for a single room in a private household, to up to 135 euros for a 4 bed appartment. You can book quickly and conviniently over the internet at:

My Book Fair can be used by all trade visitors to prepare for the Fair.
After registration, you can use our Online Ticketing service and redeem gift vouchers. Here, you will be able to access your Online Ticket and receive important messages about the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Take advantage of the Premium Services on My Book Fair! 24 euros per year (plus VAT) you have access to all the detailed information in our online catalogues. You can also save search results in your own lists and send appointment requests to business partners. If you wish, your profile can also be included in Frankfurt Who's Who, making it easy to be contacted by potential business partners. This is industry networking at its purest!
