THE ARTS+

THE ARTS+ is a fair, business festival and international meeting place for the culture and creative industries, launched in October 2016 during the Frankfurter Buchmesse. The goal of the new format is to exploit the potential of digitalisation for creative content and to develop new business areas. ALDUS – named after Aldo Manuzio, the humanist and innovative publisher from Venice (ca. 1450–1515) – is the network of European book fairs. ALDUS aims to improve the networking and professionalisation of book fairs, in particular in the areas of rights and licenses, audience development and digitalisation. As the leading B2B marketplace for content, the Frankfurter Buchmesse is one of several partners of the project. ALDUS is co-financed by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
