Take advantage of this affordable yet attention-grabbing option to present yourself at the Frankfurter Buchmesse. We offer big centres of attraction for the press, public and trade visitors. If you are an exhibitor, use the opportunity and present your authors, books and products on our stages. Your audience: 10.000 representatives of the press, more than 278.000 trade visitors and interested end-users from all over the world.

Lesezelt (Reading tent, Agora)

This is where readings, book presentations and literary award ceremonies are held. In addition to the programme content, the cosy reading-tent atmosphere and free Yogi Tea offered in the entrance area invite readers to linger here. The “Lesezelt” (reading tent) offers room for 300 people. Seating options include alcoves along the edges and chairs in front of on the stage. An alcove is made available to organisers during their event.
Particularly attractive feature: You can also book the “Signierzelt” (book-signing tent) at the centre of the Agora for your author following your event.

Open Stage (Agora)

Spanning 260 sqm, this light canopy in the middle of the Agora is one of the fair’s largest event areas, making it THE stage for activities and larger events of all kinds. The Open Stage offers a raised stage, audio system and plenty of space – an open-air space, it’s nevertheless weatherproof thanks to transparent side panels, heating units, parasol heaters and blankets. The giant screen behind the stage is a real eye-catcher, already attracting attention from afar. It makes it easy to trans- form the Open Stage into an open-air cinema...

Stage at the Children’s Book Centre (Hall 3.0)

Everything here is dedicated to children’s and young adult media. Clear the stage for discussion groups, book presentations and author readings for the younger generation! Hall 3.0 is the centre of the kids’ universe: Here you will find all notable German-language children’s book publishers, as well as large and small exhibitors from Russia, Spain, Italy, Asia and many other countries and continents. From Wednesday to Friday, numerous prestigious award ceremonies, professional events dedicated to various topics and, of course, readings are held on the Kids‘ Stage. At the weekend, visitors and their children flock to see well-known authors of children’s and young adult media. This stage is perfect for dancing, singing and other performances!

International Stage (Hall 5.1)

Our stage in Hall 5 is surrounded by exhibitors from all around the world. 16 This is a place for lively exchanges about current developments in the internati-
onal book industry, as well as about literature and about cultural policy issues. Also German publishers and institutions use this stage to promote internationally relevant topics. You too can present your products here to potential business partners from other countries, and encourage your own international partners to do the same. Of course, the stage is also suitable for readings by authors from all parts of the world, who can use it to present their works to an interested (trade) audience.

Signing Tents (Agora)

Our two signing tents stand at the heart of the Buchmesse. Here, visitors can get close to the authors signing their books.

Equipment:
1 table for signing and selling books, 2 chairs, 1 shelf for presenting books, book stands, a rear panel that can be used for posters etc., heater, service per- sonnel as contact persons and to guide visitors.
Those hosting activities on the Open Stage or in the Reading Tent can book slots in either of the signing tents following their event.


NEW: From September, exhibitors will be able to book free slots in the signing tents for sessions with authors who have not been involved in an event on one of the Agora stages. Please consult the calendar which we will make available in good time as part of the booking tool online.
