Set-up and delivery

Delivery of exhibit items at the stand by a freight forwarding agency, a courier service or the regular postal service is possible during the above mentioned times (see info on the right). Please discuss with the company that you employ directly when your packages should be delivered, i.e. when you are at your stand to receive them and sign for receipt.

Set-up and fitting-out of the stand must be completed by 10.00 p.m. at the latest on the day before the beginning of the fair and halls must be cleared of items not included on the stand. All persons must have left the halls by midnight on 9 October, as the police will then begin their security check.

Early stand set-up

Early stand set-up prior to Sunday, 7 October, is subject to a flat fee of 750 euros and is only allowed for exhibitors with custom-designed stands of 40 sqm or more who have obtained special authorisation in writing from the Frankfurt Book Fair (deadline: 1 August). Dismantling times: Sunday, 14 October 2012 app. 6 p.m. until Monday, 15 October midnight (non-stop)

The exhibition halls are open throughout the entire night from Sunday to Monday as well as on Monday through to midnight. Exit from the exhibition site is possible through all gates at any time. Complete clearance and cleaning of all system stand modules as well as the breakdown of exhibitors’ own stand structures must be completed by midnight on Monday, 15 October at the latest. The bench cabinets in system stand modules should be cleared of all contents by Sunday evening, but certainly by the next day Monday morning at the latest – as from noon they will be emptied by cleaning staff and all remaining contents will be removed.

Extended dismantling is possible for custom-built stands exceeding 40 sqm in size, provided this has been officially requested and approved by the fair organisers.
