Guest of Honour 2011 Iceland
"Fabulous Iceland" - this is the motto chosen by the little country with big literature for its presentation from 12 to 16 October 2011.
Translation funding
In cooperation with the "Fabulous Iceland" organisation committee, the Icelandic Literature Fund is offering translation subsidies for the Guest of Honour appearance in 2011. Applications should be made to the Literature Fund. Further information is available at www.bok.is.
Programme
As well as numerous book readings and new publications, there is expected to be a diverse programme of events from the art, film and music sectors.
The Icelandic organisation committee will present an initial overview of the programme at the Book Fair 2010.
