Frankfurt Fellows 2008
The Frankfurt Fellowship Programme was set up in 1998 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Frankfurt Book Fair. In the past ten years, a close network has built up within the international publishing industry. More than 165 Fellows from 45 countries have already benefited from this Programme.
It was coordinated in 2008 by Martina Stemann from the Frankfurt Book Fair and accompanied by former Fellow Laurenz Bolliger from Berlin Verlag.
We spoke with two participants of last year´s programme.
Portraits and interviews
On 4 October 2008, 16 Fellows came to Germany at the invitation of the Frankfurt Book Fair. They were invited to get to know the publishing sector in Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin, before attending the Frankfurt Book Fair together. The book trade magazine "Ideenmagazin für den Buchhandel - buchmarkt.de" spoke to all of them.
