Charlie Redmayne is CEO of HarperCollins UK, with responsibility for the UK, Ireland, India and Australia, reporting to Brian Murray, President and CEO of HarperCollins Publishers Worldwide.

Charlie Redmayne is CEO of HarperCollins UK, with responsibility for the UK, Ireland, India and Australia, reporting to Brian Murray, President and CEO of HarperCollins Publishers Worldwide.

Charlie first joined HarperCollins as Group Digital Director, and was promoted to Chief Digital Officer, based in HarperCollins' head office in New York. He left HarperCollins in 2011 to set up Pottermore, JK Rowling’s digital publishing business, before returning as CEO in 2013.
At the start of his career Charlie served for four years as a lieutenant in the Irish Guards. He founded and ran the media buying company RCL Communications and entertainment business Blink TV, before launching leading UK teen internet company Mykindaplace Ltd in 2000, which he sold to BSkyB.
Charlie went on to become Head of Commercial Partnerships for the Sky Online Business Unit at BSkyB and joined HarperCollins UK as Group Digital Director in 2008. He is currently President of the Publishers Association.

In 2015 Niclas Sandin was commissioned by Bonnier Books to found BookBeat, an audiobook streaming service, with the goal to play a leading role in forming the digital book market in Europe for the decade to come. Niclas has as CEO built BookBeat as a data driven tech start up that in 2016 launched in Sweden and Finland. In 2017 it initiated launches in Germany and UK. In the summer of 2018 BookBeat has grown to over 100 000 monthly paying users, an annual turnover of over 10 MEUR, and over 50 employees. Before joining Bonnier in 2012, Niclas was a data analyst and consultant focused on growth companies at EY. Before BookBeat, Niclas held management and business development positions in Bonnier Books B2C operations.

Thanks to all that, Pablo has founded publica.la, “the Shopify of the Publishing Industry”, which is the first cloud based platform that enables publishers to start sustainable digital edition businesses, without any technical knowledge, by creating their own library and controlling every aspect of it.

Pieter is the Executive Vice President, Publisher Relations and Content and is responsible for managing Rakuten Kobo’s global publisher relations team for ebooks and audiobooks. In his role, he oversees publisher relationships, acquisition, publisher operations and Kobo Writing Life, Kobo’s independent publishing business. Pieter joined Rakuten Kobo in 2011 and was formerly Vice President, Publisher Relations and Merchandising for non-English territories.
Before joining the company, Pieter worked in the international publishing industry, most recently as Publisher and Vice Director at De Bezige Bij (The Busy Bee) in Amsterdam. He holds an MA in English Literature from the University of Amsterdam and MPhil in Anglo-Irish Literature from Trinity College, Dublin.

Lisa Lyons Johnston is President of Canada’s leading, globally recognised children’s book publisher, Kids Can Press, part of the Corus Entertainment (TSX: CJR.B) family.

Since 2003, Lisa has held senior leadership positions at Corus Entertainment, first joining the company’s television group as Vice President & General Manger of Content Distribution and of Max Trax Digital Music. In her current role, Lisa is responsible for all publishing programmes and operations, including the stewardship of signature characters and brands such as Franklin the Turtle, Scaredy Squirrel and CitizenKid, the award-winning global issues collection for young readers. Recently Lisa spearheaded the launch of KCP Loft, a new Young Adult imprint aimed at young women ages 14 to 24.
