Crime fiction authors Jørn Lier Horst and Thomas Enger have both had great success writing crime fiction for both adults and a younger audience. Today they will discuss how to write crime fiction for a younger readership.
Jørn Lier Horst (1970) is part of the Nordic crime fiction elite. In addition to his novels for adult readers, Horst has gained wide recognition for his unparalleled ability to thrill young readers with his mysteries. Horst’s Wisting und der Tag der Vermissten is published by Piper in 2019, translated by Andreas Brunstermann.
Thomas Enger (1973) is a critically acclaimed crime fiction and YA writer. In 2018 his crime novel Wer heute lügt, ist morgen tot is published by CBJ in 2019, translated by Gabriele Haefs.
