The Hour of Freedom – Facts, Fiction & Freedom of Expression

Global evening - Reading, discussion and musical performance.

The Hour of Freedom will start off with a reading from Yemeni poet Mansur Rajih accompanied by the string quartet from Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. Ms Bennoune will then be joined in a panel discussion by Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Eriksen Søreide, Frankfurt Book Fair's Juergen Boos and political cartoonist Khalid Albaih from Sudan. Renowned Afghan musician Hamid Sakhizada will finish the evening off. Moderator: Kjersti Løken Stavrum, president of Norwegian PEN.
