The political responsibility to protect threatened creative artists

Creative artists are coming under increasing pressure around the world, facing restrictions on the practice of their art or even physical threats. During the Nazi period, German intellectuals were given shelter in other countries, and later made important contributions to Germany’s moral reconstruction. That is why it’s important today to protect creative artists in danger elsewhere.
