My Book Fair is the central online access for all vital services for Frankfurer Buchmesse. The platform offers access to a wide range of services related to the most important trading center for printed and digital content. Exhibitors, trade visitors and book buyers can access our Fair services quickly, easily, efficiently and around the clock so that they don't miss a thing. And after the one-time registration, the use of trade fair services at future trade fairs is a breeze.
NB: Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, all tickets are only available as day tickets. Instead of the usual exhibitor pass for 5 days, you will receive 5 exhibitor 1-day-tickets this year. For example, if you previously received a free quota of 10 exhibitor passes, this year you will have 50 exhibitor 1-day tickets at your disposal. These can be personalised individually. This means that an employee who only attends the trade fair for 2 days will only use 2 day tickets. The remaining 1-day tickets can be used by other colleagues. Unfortunately, exhibitor and trade visitor tickets do NOT entitle the holder to use local public transport this year.
The applicable hygiene regulations must be observed. You can check ahead of your visit which hygiene regulations are in force here: Hygiene & distancing – participate safely. Bring all necessary certificates (e.g. proof of vaccination, current test results) and a medical mask.

How many exhibitor passes will I get this year?
The same amount as in previous years, depending on the floor space you have rented. Instead of the usual exhibitor pass for 5 days you will receive 5 exhibitor 1- day tickets this year. For example, if you previously received a free quota of 10 exhibitor passes, this year you will have 50 exhibitor 1-day tickets at your disposal. These can be personalised individually. Why is registration and ticket personalisation via My Book Fair necessary for trade visitors and exhibitors?
Frankfurter Buchmesse has responded to the frequently expressed wish by exhibitors, agents and trade visitors to bundle fair services digitally and to enable a transparent and up-to-date ticket management.
Within My Book Fair you can

Where do I see my ticket codes?
When ticket managers generate ticket codes they will appear in the LitAg ticket portal overview. Each ticket number corresponds to a ticket code that has been sent, so all ticket codes already sent can be traced. You send the ticket codes to your customers, staff etc. They will then need to personalise them by loggin on to their own My Book Fair account.
Are tickets automatically personalised?
Ticket codes issued by the ticket manager are not yet personalised. Only when the recipient redeems the codes in the ticket shop are they personalised - i.e. given a name. For this purpose, registration by the recipient at My Book Fair is necessary. The name of the registered user then appears on the ticket.
Can the name on the ticket be changed again?
Names on tickets cannot be changed once they have been personalised, not even by the ticket manager. However, only tickets that are scanned at the fair entrances will be invoiced, so any tickets or links assigned by the ticket manager within the portal in addition to ticket packages can be re-issued without any problem to a new person.
Does the ticket manager have to create his own ticket?
Yes, if they are attending Frankfurter Buchmesse they will need to issue a ticket to themselves and redeem it.
Can tickets also be bought at the door?
Exhibitor tickets can only be booked via the exhibitor ticket portal. Trade and private visitor tickets can only be purchased online this year and not on site.
Is it possible to visit the Frankfurt Book Fair without a redeemed ticket code?
Due to the limited number of tickets and the fact that you will be required to provide information about yourself before entering the grounds, we can only grant you access if you have converted your ticket code into a ticket in advance via My Book Fair.
Can I also buy a ticket on site?
No, this year tickets can‘t be purchased on site.
What individual solutions does Frankfurter Buchmesse offer exhibitors and customers for whom it is not possible to order or register tickets via the exhibitor ticket portal?

Registration via My Book Fair is quick and easy. Moreover, it remains valid for visits to the Fair in subsequent years and does not have to be repeated. My colleagues are having problems redeeming their ticket code/link. What can I do?
Please refer your colleagues to the service hotline at +49 (0) 69 7575 5151 or firstname.lastname@example.org, who will help with specific cases and send your employees our tutorials showing how to redeem a ticket code or how to convert a ticket link into a ticket.
Is my data safe? I do not want my colleagues/customers/... to receive advertising e-mails from Frankfurter Buchmesse in the future.

I am struggling with the task to allocate all the tickets via the exhibitor ticket portal. What can I do to get help?
If your company is happy to appoint more than one ticket manger then you can easily appoint colleagues as deputies and organise ticket management amongst each other. To do this, fill in the mask with the personal details of your colleagues.
Many of my colleagues have forgotten their My Book Fair access data. What can I do?
If colleagues have forgotten their passworkds they can reset and issue a new password. The prerequisite is that the current e-mail address corresponds to the email address used when during the original registration.
