The Exhibitor Ticket Portal will be available from the end of August 2021.
The exhibitor ticket portal and My Book Fair give ticket managers all the options they need to use all the important services of the Frankfurt Book Fair quickly and easily.
As a ticket manager, you can create, manage and send ticket codes and links online with just a few clicks after logging in. The portal will give you an overview which team members and customers have already redeemed their ticket; after the fair you will be able download a chart with the staff team and customer e-mail addresses. Only tickets that are actually scanned at the fair entrance will be invoiced, so you can always keep an eye on the costs.
NB: Due to the COVID 19 pandemic exhibitor passes are only available as day tickets this year; they will show up accordingly in the stand-based free ticket allocation. Instead of the usual exhibitor pass for 5 days, you will receive 5 exhibitor 1-day-tickets this year. For example, if you previously received a free quota of 10 exhibitor passes, this year you will have 50 exhibitor 1-day tickets at your disposal. These can be personalised individually. This means that an employee who only attends the trade fair for 2 days will only use 2 day tickets. The remaining 1-day tickets can be used by other colleagues. Please note that you will not be able to purchase additional exhibitor passes. If you need more tickets than your free ticket allocation then you will need to order trade visitor one-day passes. Private and trade visitor tickets are also only available as day tickets.
Admission and hygiene regulations that will be applicable at the fair must be observed. You can check ahead of your visit which hygiene regulations are in force here: Hygiene & distancing – participate safely. Anyone wanting to access the fair premises will be required to provide all necessary certificates (e.g. proof of vaccination, current test results) and to wear a medical mask.
Please also note that this year exhibitor and trade visitor tickets do NOT entitle you to use local public transport.

Questions about the Exhibitors Ticket Portal
How many exhibitor passes will I get this year?
The same amount as in previous years, depending on the floor space you have rented. Instead of the usual exhibitor pass for 5 days you will receive 5 exhibitor 1- day tickets this year. For example, if you previously received a free quota of 10 exhibitor passes, this year you will have 50 exhibitor 1-day tickets at your disposal. These can be personalised individually. This means that an employee who comes to the trade fair for only 2 days will only use 2 day tickets. The remaining 1-day tickets can be used by other colleagues.
Do ticket managers have to generate their own ticket?
Yes, if they are attending Frankfurter Buchmesse they will need to issue a ticket to themselves and redeem it.
Where do I see my ticket code?
When ticket managers generate ticket codes they will appear in the LitAg ticket portal overview. Each ticket number corresponds to a ticket code that has been sent, so all ticket codes already sent can be traced. You send the ticket codes to your customers, staff etc. They will then need to personalise them by loggin on to their own My Book Fair account.
Are tickets automatically personalised?
Ticket codes issued by the ticket manager are not yet personalised. Only when the recipient redeems the codes in the ticket shop are they personalised - i.e. given a name. For this purpose, registration by the recipient at My Book Fair is necessary. The name of the registered user then appears on the ticket.
Can the name on the ticket be changed again?
Names on tickets cannot be changed once they have been personalised, not even by the ticket manager. However, only tickets that are scanned at the fair entrances will be invoiced, so any tickets or links assigned by the ticket manager within the portal in addition to ticket packages can be re-issued without any problem to a new person.
