The measures taking place on the fairgrounds will be determined by the relevant authorities based on the current situation and will be implemented according to their instructions. Updated information will be available on our website on an ongoing basis.

As an exhibitor, which safety requirements must I adhere to?

Please note the supplements to the Technical Regulations, the leaflet Exhibitor requirements with respect to the COVID 19 pandemic, which Messe Frankfurt has compiled in accordance with the currently valid regulations. All exhibitors will receive detailed information on the safety regulations in September by e-mail.

Which safety requirements must I adhere to when putting up and taking down my stand?

We will send you an email in September containing detailed information on this topic.

I have an XYsqm stand - how many people can be at my stand at the same time?

According to current regulations, only as many people may be present on the stand at any one time as is necessary to ensure that the minimum distance between people of 1.5 m is maintained at all times.

The maximum number of persons on your stand must be determined by yourself, depending on the equipment and construction of the stand area. It is not possible to make a blanket specification for certain stand sizes.

A communication area of 1.5 m depth along the entire length of the stand is added to each stand. Visitors* can wait here if the stand is too full.  The communication area is part of the aisle and may not be built on or furnished with furniture.

Are visitors allowed to leaf through the books at our stand as usual?

The handling of books at the stand is based on the current practice in German bookshops. This means that visitors have the opportunity to look at and leaf through books. For weekend sales, books can also be kept on display in foil. If individual titles are picked up frequently, they can be wiped with a disinfecting cloth at the discretion of the stand personnel.
