Jeremy Brinton spent three years at Publishers' Licensing Services (UK) as Head of Publisher Relations principally responsible for managing publisher relationships, gaining an intimate understanding of publishers' changing business needs to ensure PLS developed appropriate collective rights management services for its primary stakeholders.

Following an eleven year commissioning career with Informa and Thomas Telford publishing, Jeremy built on his publishing experience as Publishing Manager with a premier Middle East trade publisher, prior to taking up a new role as CEO of bookseller Magrudy Enterprises, Dubai.
After four years in this position, Jeremy went on to provide strategic, board level expertise to a number of UK publishers and affiliated organisations. His experience and knowledge of the professional and trade publishing sectors, both in the UK and overseas, has given Jeremy a deep understanding of the publishing industry.

In 1994, Kristin Olson founded her eponymous translation rights agency which this year celebrates 25 years as an independent agency selling rights into the Czech and Slovak markets; it is the largest and oldest independent agency in the market.

Kristin Olson graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Comparative Literature. She then worked as an editorial assistant at what is now a division of Penguin Random House for three years, before moving to Prague in 1992 to work with a book importing company and with the Czech center of P.E.N. to help organize the World Congress of P.E.N. in Prague in 1994.
She is also on the board of directors of an annual international poetry festival which takes place in Prague in November every year.

Guangyu (Tracy) Liu is the Director of the Department of Rights and International Cooperation at China Renmin University Press (CRUP). As a senior international rights professional in China’s publishing industry, she has been awarded with an array of awards such as “Excellent Copyright Manager” by official institutions.

Holding a master’s degree in International Politics, she joined CRUP right after her graduation in 1998. Since then, Tracy has been working in the international rights acquisition business of CRUP for almost all her 21 years’ career life. She is one of the authors of the 2014 edition of the International Publishing Blue Book: Development Report of International Publishing Industry and has published multiple articles in newspapers and other media of China’s publishing industry.

Ms. Jiang currently serves as CEO and Vice Chairman of Beijing OpenBookCo., a privately-owned research and consulting company focused on the Chinese book industry. Besides providing industry data and market insights, she and her team also support international publishers wishing to enter the market.

Ms Jiang joined the company in 2000 and has since served as the chief editor of a large number of its independent research projects. Peter Craddock is a legal technologist, combining a legal practice in the fields of data and technology law with software development in his spare time to assist him in his work. He has nine years of experience in leading complex projects in the fields of software contracting, data protection, cybersecurity, e-commerce and IT outsourcing, and his practical understanding of the underlying technical considerations and hands-on approach makes him a key intermediary between business, legal and technical representatives in such projects.

He also publishes academic works along with titles related to international politics. Noam Chomsky, Joseph Nye, Ezra Vogel, Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, Henry Kissinger, Al Gore, Brigitte Macron and other scholars and politicians are on his list. Wuping speaks frequently on the topic of international publishing at book fairs in Frankfurt, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Beijing.

Furthermore, Wuping is an established author and translator himself. He conducted research at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University as a visiting scholar from August 2017 to July 2018, graduated from Yale Publishing Course in 2014 and Columbia-Radcliff Publishing Course in 2009, won the fellowship of the Henry Luce Foundation and participated in the Yale-China’s American Studies program at Yale University in July 1999. Prior to his publishing career, he spent seven years as a book reporter in Beijing.
