The changing book market: trends in 2018.

New digital forms of entertainment are heating up the competition for the limited resource of time, and books are gradually being pushed out of everyday life. Yet, while technical innovations and alternative content formats are gaining relevance, reading still continues to be experienced very positively in all target groups – especially in a society that increasingly feels the need for deceleration and relaxation.

In its study, “Book buyers – quo vadis?”, the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels has now complied the most important key figures and remains confident despite all the challenges and the gradual decline in book reading. According to the study, new opportunities abound.

Be there when experts discuss trends and developments of the scene.
