Consulting service

We work together with various agencies, publishing houses, print and media companies throughout South Asia, initiate new projects, and carry out targeted market analysis. We offer consulting services ranging from market research to database development.

Translations

Our extensive database of professional translators, sample translations and other important details are available to publishers and interested parties. So, whether it's a literary or an academic book, we can connect you with the right translator.

Business prospects

Together with China, India is currently one of the world's most attractive investment markets.
In the publishing industry, in addition to licensing business or opportunities for co-productions, there are more and more attractive offers in the service sector. Since the market often seems opaque for foreign companies, we are there to help and advise you.

Exhibitions

We show you what’s new on the German market. For experts and the public, we offer new German publications in book collections, including fiction literature, literature for children, non-fiction books and books on topics such as cookbooks, literature on climate change, etc.

Frankfurter Buchmesse

We support exhibitors and trade visitors from South Asia in preparation for their participation at Frankfurter Buchmesse. During the Book Fair we organise various business and cultural events for exhibitors to foster collaboration between the Indian, German and international publishing worlds. If you are an exhibitor and would like a matchmaking meeting or are planning an event with an Indian author at the Book Fair or book publications, please get in touch with us.

Publisher's journey

Once a year, our office organises a publisher's trip to Germany to promote the exchange between the industries. This event is aimed at publishers from India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and always focuses on a specific genre.
