Literature translates us

17.10.2020

“Literature translates us“ is a mapping, a temporal and regional cartography of Argentine literature from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day, including the different genres: essay, fiction, poetry, dramatic text and journalistic chronicles.

It suggests thinking literature in a historical and political way, seeking to understand literary production in its context, its relationship with the territory and its time.

This historical journey shows us that Argentine literature is born as a device of an emancipatory spirit, and finds its current continuity as an experience of language and transgression.
