As a woman traveling alone - in impassable countries
Priska Seisenbacher travels alone as a woman in the remote mountain region of the Pamirs in China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan. It tells of breathtaking landscapes, of the history of this exciting region and the stories of the people who call this harsh mountainous world their home.
She brought breathtaking photos and a rare glimpse into the life of the local women. But it is also about border crossings, physical as well as psychological, which she experiences not only on site, but already at home in Vienna as women traveling alone.
