Barbara Pregelj is a editor, translator, researcher and assistant professor. As editor in chief at Malinc publishing house she is striving for bigger literary diversity in the Slovenian book market, also by publishing authors from the Spanish speaking countries and minority literatures. She translates mostly from Spanish to Slovenian and also from Catalan, Galician and Basque language and from Slovenian into Spanish. She has recently been awarded with the European-Mediterranean award PONT for her work as a researcher, translator and editor in the field of intercultural literature.
