Candice Carty-Williams, born in 1989, is the result of an affair between a Jamaican cab driver who hardly says a word and a Jamaican-Indian receptionist with dyslexia who says more than anyone else in the world every day. She is a journalist and screenwriter, her texts have appeared in The Guardian, Vogue and the Sunday Times, among others.
