Francis Kirps won the 2020 EU Prize for Literature for Luxembourg with Die Mutationen. He is a Luxembourgish writer who lives and works in Lintgen. He has a degree in Psychology from the University of Strasbourg. Die Mutationen is his second collection of short stories. It received the leading award for Luxembourgish literature – the Prix Servais – in 2020. He regularly co-organises public readings in Luxembourg and Germany, and is the co-editor of the German literary magazine EXOT.
