Children have a right to a healthy upbringing.
What does this mean for work in day care centres and schools? What structural conditions must be met in order to be able to implement this child right? Which qualifications do the specialists in the institutions need and which additional projects and cooperations make sense?
These questions will be discussed in lectures and workshops at the Education Congress at Frankfurter Buchmesse. Initiatives and projects present their best practice examples at discussion stations.
Digital competence - the responsibility of day care centres and schools.
From an early age, children are exposed to a wide variety of media and many use them as a given - whether for paddling or learning, the possibilities are manifold. But media use is not just media competence. Which responsibility do the day care centres and schools have? How do children become competent media users? What opportunities does early media education offer and what are the challenges facing pedagogical specialists in day care centres and schools?
These questions were answered at the Education Congress 2017. Prof. Dr. Stefan Aufenanger from the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz gave an introductory lecture. Afterwards, the participants informed themselves in workshops and at interactive discussion stations.
In a nutshell:
Use the education congress to learn about current topics of knowledge transfer in schools and kindergartens.
