This year's “Special Edition” Frankfurter Buchmesse will feature leading international exhibitors, book wholesalers and service providers from every area – and it’s once again the focal point of the book trade. Thanks to our exclusive presentations and offerings, your visit to the fair will help secure your success in the new business year. Confer with experts, meet colleagues and make new contacts in the International Library Centre (ILC) or in the exhibitor areas with representatives from science, professional literature and education.

World literature for a small price

Trainees and students from all disciplines pay only 9 euros on the trade visitor days at Frankfurter Buchmesse. Important: discounted tickets can only be purchased online, and you must provide proper credentials for admission at the door. The early bird gets the worm: there is a limited number of total tickets available this year.

Which booksellers receive complementary tickets?

Member bookstores of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association (Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels) may receive up to four 1-day trade visitor tickets as part of their membership. In this case, the members will be contacted directly via e-mail.

Member bookstores of the following associations will receive information on obtaining complimentary 1-day trade visitor tickets directly through their association:
- Schweizer Buchhändler- und Verleger-Verband
- Hauptverband des Österreichischen Buchhandels
- European and International Booksellers Federation

Which discounts are available to interns or students in the media industry?

Complimentary tickets are available to interns and students in the book and media industries as well as trainees from Media Information Services and students of Library and Information Science.

MIS trainees and LIS students (with corresponding IDs) should please contact the Berufsverband Information Bibliothek e. V., mail@bib-info.de.

There is a limited supply of complimentary tickets for trainees and students in the book and media industries.

How can I take advantage of special conditions as a bookseller?

You can purchase tickets online. To do so, you will need a “My Book Fair”-account. As a bookseller you are eligible to purchase tickets at the reduced price of € 19. (“1-day trade visitor ticket (special)”). Access to the fair is possible only with the proper credentials at the door (business card or a letter of reference from your employer).

Important: No tickets will be available at the door!
