Risa Greenbaum is Assistant Vice President of International Consumer Products at Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit media and educational organization behind Sesame Street. In this capacity, Greenbaum works across the regions to craft market-specific licensing strategies and provide centralized support across all aspects of the consumer products business, from agency procurement and oversight to product development and contract management. She works to identify strategic global opportunities in consumer products categories.
Previously, Greenbaum was Assistant Vice President of International Media Business, Europe, at Sesame Workshop, where she was responsible growing the content distribution and licensing business for Sesame Street and The Furchester Hotel. She has served as Director of International Licensing for Asia Pacific and Europe, and oversaw the development of new business initiatives and the launch of Dragon Tales and Tiny Planets, in these markets. Greenbaum has also managed the International Licensing business for Canada and Latin America. She joined the Workshop in 1990 in the International Licensing department.
Greenbaum, who earned a Bachelor of Science from Hunter College, resides in New York City.
