Traditional Musical Instruments

This catalogue has six chapters which present the pictorial description of the musical instruments preserved in the Bangladesh National Museum. These instruments are not only the mainstream Bengali musical instruments but also the traditional musical instruments of Bangladeshi ethnic communities. It includes some instruments which are played all over the world including Bangladesh. This catalogue also contains the history of Bengali musical instruments.
