A panel discussion about our experimental approaches to developing open initiatives

A historical lack of diversity has created numerous structural barriers to achieving equity across the academic publishing ecosystem. As we accelerate towards an open future we must take meaningful action to ensure these inequities do not persist.

Join leaders and industry specialists for a panel discussion about the challenges and opportunities when taking an experimental approach to developing open access initiatives. The discussion will touch on our approach to funding open research in a way that actively encourages equity, the development of fresh publishing formats that leverage technology in new ways, and the development of new models for open access books publishing.
