Presentations by eight brazilian writers/researchers about their work based on Creative Writing

In October 2023, for the first time in its history, the Frankfurter Buchmesse will host an event on Creative Writing. On 10/20, the brazilian group Studies on Creative Writing, created in 2016, will have the honor and pleasure of sharing works by eight writers/researchers: Adriano Portela, Bibiana Simionatto, Fred Linardi, Guilherme Azambuja Castro, Luís Roberto Amabile, Maria do Carmo Nino, Patricia Gonçalves Tenório and Raldianny Pereira.

The group was born in August 2016 and dialogues around the research area of the writer and PhD in Creative Writing (PUCRS) Patricia Gonçalves Tenório, organizer and teacher of residential classes. Its first public presentation took place on October 2017, at the 11st Pernambuco International Book Biennial.

In 2018, the group performed at Cultura Bookstore, in Recife and Porto Alegre, with theoretical classes taught by Patricia.

As of 2019, the group entered the academic environment with the extension course (2019.1) and the collaboration in the creation of the Creative Writing specialization (2019.2, partnership between Unicap/PUCRS). And in 2020, it won the world, virtually, with the free online courses Studies on Creative Writing (2020) and The Worlds Within (2021).

On the occasion, five books by the writer Patricia Gonçalves Tenório will also be released.
