500-sqm area for children’s and young adult media at the Frankfurter Buchmesse

The new Frankfurt Kids Foyer 5.1/6.1 is where international publishers and suppliers present themselves and their product lines – from picture books and digital add-ons to toys, robotics and other trends. The 500-square metre area serves as a central venue for networking, exhibiting and events. It includes the Kids Stage and Illustrators Corner, as well as a walkable catalogue and a café.

 

Here’s what you’ll find at the Frankfurt Kids Foyer 5.1/6.1:

International collective stand

A collective presentation by international newcomers and small publishers of children’s and young adult media.

Walkable catalogue

An exhibition of titles from current children’s and young adult book exhibitors at the Frankfurter Buchmesse and the 100 most beautiful international picture books of 2018.

Toys

A presentation of selected trends from the toy market as well as the latest children’s software and the award ceremony for the TOMMI Children’s Software Award.

Frankfurt Kids Stage

A stage featuring a multifaceted information and entertainment programme, with market information and business case studies for trade visitors, as well as various events for private visitors, including readings and panel discussions, at the weekend.

Illustrators Corner

Venue and meeting place for creatives from the children’s and young adult literature sector. In addition, there will be a portfolio presentation in which participants will show visitors their work.
