SZBA panel in collaboration with Litprom

Arabic literature has a stronger presence on the European book market than it used to, yet it continues to be a mere spectre compared to European language literature. Both in the Arab world and in Europe, institutions have emerged to promote the literary work of Arab authors and their visibility in Europe, including the Sheikh Zayed Book Award (SZBA) in Abu Dhabi, the French initiative LEILA (Arabic Literature In European Languages), and the German-British literary agency teneleven.

There will be simultaneous translation in GER/AR/EN.
