Panel Discussion

The growth of Indian publishing runs parallel to the growth and development of India as an independent nation during the last 76 years. With rise in literacy, and demand for books among the large spectrum of a multi-lingual society, the Indian publishing scene carries the traditional as well as contemporary and futuristic tools of learning, publishing and distribution all in one parallel universe. The National Education Policy 2020 has opened up a much larger vista of publishing challenges as well as opportunities to the traditional publishing structures and the new innovative startup alike. The present panel discussion will look at various strands and dimensions of the current Indian publishing scene.
