Algerian writer Said Khatibi and German writer Svenja Leiber have their own relationship to the desert, which they depict in their texts.
In their texts, Svenja Leiber and Said Khatibi describe individual fates, the race for elucidation, as well as life and survival. Both authors occasionally take us into the desert, on a voyage of discovery of what lies hidden within human beings.
