Silvia Sesé has worked in the publishing field since her beginnings as a free-lance collaborator for different publishers. She was in charge of the fiction area and later on she was the deputy editorial director of Círculo de Lectores. From 2007 to 2015 she was in charge of the fiction program at Ediciones Destino. In 2015, she joined Anagrama as an assistant to the editorial director, until January 2017 when she took over the editorial direction.
