Among them are Irene Vallejo and Antonio Muñoz Molina, who will be speakers at Frankfurter Buchmesse’s Opening Ceremony on 18 October, setting the mood for the 2022 Guest of Honour, Spain. This was announced today in Madrid by the Spanish Minister of Culture, Miquel Iceta, together with Elvira Marco, the curator of the Guest of Honour appearance; the President of the Spanish Publishers Association, Daniel Fernández; and Juergen Boos, Director of Frankfurter Buchmesse. On the last day of the book fair (23 October 2022), Manuel Rivas will hand over the GuestScroll to the 2023 Guest of Honour, Slovenia.
