Kathrin Grün leaves to pursue new career opportunity / Frankfurter Buchmesse’s PR team reorganises

Frankfurt, 30 November 2022 – Personnel changes within the PR team of Frankfurter Buchmesse have been announced: Kathrin Grün, Head of PR and Communications since 2017, and part of the book fair's PR team since 2009, is leaving the company on 30 November to pursue a new career opportunity. "I am very grateful for 13 eventful years at Frankfurter Buchmesse. Many people are involved in the success of the book fair. I would like to thank all my team for their motivated cooperation and, of course, Juergen Boos and all my colleagues", says Kathrin Grün. Juergen Boos, Director of Frankfurter Buchmesse, says: "I would like to thank Kathrin Grün for her great work and trusting cooperation over the past years. With her expertise, her extraordinary commitment and her large international network, she has made a decisive contribution to the success of Frankfurter Buchmesse. We are very sorry to lose her, as an employee and and as a colleague, and we wish her all the best. We are currently holding final talks on a succession plan, which we will announce soon."

On an interim basis, Ines Bachor will take over the coordination of the PR and Communications team on 1 December. Svenja Pütz already joined the team as Social Media Manager on 1 August this year. Further members of the team include Kathrin Ankermüller, Katrin Hage and Frank Krings. Tina Pfeifer will return from parental leave in January 2023.
