The Future is female - women in science-fiction

Science fiction is perceived as a very technology-oriented genre, with few female authors writing and few female readers on the go. But does this perception match reality?

Theresa Hannig, author and initiator of the #fantastischeFrauen project, Klaus N. Frick, editor-in-chief of Perry Rhodan, and Sandra Thoms, publisher of Plan9 Verlag, will explore this question. On the one hand there will be a look at publication figures, reviews and award winners. But also the development of manuscript submissions and the everyday life of the publishing house will be discussed.
