Pathways into children's books publishing
Children’s literature and publishing should reflect the diversity of the world we live in – from the stories and characters on the page, to the writers and illustrators that create them, to the editors, art directors and designers who publish them.
So that’s why Pathways provides illustration courses that nurture aspiring illustrators and writers, as well as opportunities for young people to learn about publishing. Their courses are for anyone who wants to make children’s books, but the team also creates special opportunities for aspiring artists from backgrounds that are under-represented in children’s books, so they can fulfil their dreams of creating books for the next generation.
