Anete Melece (1983) is an illustrator, animation artist and producer whose works are characterised by funny details, charming characters and sincere stories. She lives in Switzerland and has published her illustrations in magazines such as Kuš!, Strapzin, Internationale, etc. Her animated films have won awards at several international film festivals, including the 2014 Swiss Film Award for Best Animated Film for the film Kiosk (2013). Her current film Analysis Paralysis (2016) has qualified for the Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film.
