Carola Heinrich (freelance translator and university lecturer) studied Romance languages with a focus on Latin-American literature in Munich and the completed a PhD on contemporary Cuban theatre and film in Vienna. She was a lecturer in the Chair for German Language and Literature at the Comenius University in Bratislava and translates plays from Spanish. She was awarded an “Excellence Grant” by the Deutsche Übersetzerfonds in 2020 and is a member of Drama Panorama e.V.
