Estela Consigli has been a translator specialising in publishing since 2011. Former vice-president of the Asociación Argentina de Traductores e Intérpretes (AATI), where she currently continues to coordinate the Translation for Publishers and Copyright commission. She is a co-author of the bills for the protection of translators' copyrights in 2013 and 2015, and was a member of the general coordination team of the Escuela de Otoño de Traducción Literaria "Lucila Cordone" (Lucila Cordone Autumn School of Literary Translation) between 2015 and 2021. Since the creation of Alitral in 2017, she participates in it on behalf of AATI.
