Ivar Leon Menger

Author and director

Ivar Leon Menger, born in Darmstadt in 1973, studied graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim. He initially worked for five years as a copywriter at Ted Bates Frankfurt and made his first short film, "Geteiltes Leid," which won "Best Short Film" at the Berlinale in 2002. He has long since made a name for himself as an author and director of radio plays. His series "Monster 1983" and "Ghostbox" are among the most successful productions on Audible. In the summer of 2022, his debut novel "Als das Böse kam" (dtv) and the second season of "Die schwarze Stadt" (The AOS) will be published.
