Lawrence Schimel is a bilingual (Spanish/English) writer & literary translator based in Madrid. He has published over 120 books as an author or anthologist, in many different genres and for readers of all ages. He is the author of two children's books featuring families with same-sex parents that have recently come under attack by the governments of various countries. He is also a prolific literary translator, both into English and into Spanish, and also the editor of the independent poetry publisher A Midsummer Night's Press.
