Piero Martin is Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Padua and researches thermonuclear fusion, a technology that could generate clean, safe and unlimited amounts of energy. A member of the American Physical Society, he has been scientific director of major international projects on the subject and since 2017 has been leading physicist of DTT, Italy's largest fusion experiment.
