Stefanie Taschinski was born in 1969 and writes children’s books that are warm and witty, playful and poetic. Her books take her readers on fantastic adventures, have won many awards, and have been translated into many languages. She is co-founder of the network “Die Elbautoren” (Elbe authors), writing tutor for the project “Schulhausroman” (schoolhouse novel) run by the Literaturhaus Hamburg, and is deeply involved in projects to promote reading.
