Lyric Land Slovenia

Slovenia is considered to be the land of poets. Milan Dekleva, one of Slovenia's most renowned poets, is also an author of prose, translator, composer and radio editor. In 2022 Edition Thanhäuser publishing house published a selection of his poems in German, the poems were translated by various translators. Cvetka Lipuš comes from Austria, but writes in Slovene language. Her collection Odhajanje za začetnike (Leaving for Beginners) offers deep insight into saying goodbye, letting go, and leaving. The collection received many positive reviews.
