Frankfurter Buchmesse is sponsoring the ‘FutureBook of the Year’, a category designed to celebrate innovative books. The winner will be announced on Friday, 30 November.

Andrew Keen, bestselling author, "The Antichrist of Silicon Valley", and one of the first to point out the dangers of the internet for culture and society, will speak at the 2020 Berlin International Film Festival, Berlinale, as part of the European Film Market’s Horizon programme.

‘The Future of Culture’ is the theme of the 2019 StoryDrive Exhibition and Conference held from 28 May to 1 June 2019. Featured topics inlcude artificial intelligence (AI), trans-cultural storytelling and science fiction.

Inspiring keynote talks by national and international speakers such as Galit Ariel, JiaJia Fei and Frank Thelen, and exceptional performances by the “cyborg” Moon Ribas, holographic popstar Maya Kodes and 3D Drum Girl LIZZY – THE ARTS+ 2018 is all this and more.

The programme of THE ARTS+/B3 takes an exciting look into the future of culture.

Players from across the publishing industry are being invited to pledge their commitment to the future by signing a new Sustainable Development Goals Publishers Compact, launched today at the start of Frankfurter Buchmesse.

On Sunday, 20 October 2019, the premiere of THE ARTS+/B3 came to a successful conclusion in Frankfurt/Main.
