For some years now, children’s literature has been receiving increasing attention and support from the book industry. Even so, it is still often underestimated as an art. According to conventional wisdom, writing and translating children’s books is easy. Is that really true or are appearances deceptive? What are the challenges of writing, translating and publishing this material?
