Piero Martin - "Maß für Maß: Die sieben Einheiten, die unsere Welt erklären"
The author in conversation with Christian Koth about his current book
In his book, physicist Piero Martin combines important research findings with our everyday lives in a way that is both playful and entertaining. It is with the seven units of measurement - metre, kilogram, second, ampere, kelvin, mol and candela - that everything can be measured. At the same time, he explains why all knowledge of the world is based on them, why there are seven of them and why they allow us to explain our surroundings and draw conclusions for the future. An event presented by the Italian Cultural Institutes in Berlin and Cologne.
