Rethinking distribution means discussing the effect of digitalisation on the commercialisation of books through different channels, linked to issues such as digital marketing, the discovery of potential readers and buyers, the boom of e-commerce of printed books, the importance of printing on demand from one copy on... The technological tools that help the sector (publishers, distributors, booksellers...) in the application of digitalisation to all the processes in the book supply chain will be mentioned, as a formula to help the commercialisation of books (both printed and digital) as well as to save costs for all the actors involved in the book supply chain. Special attention will be given to the collaboration formulas that can be found between all the companies that trade with books in Spanish, on both sides of the Atlantic.
